Arcinia Hung
Arcinia Pulgadas Hung, 76, of Hilo, died June 9, 2018, at the Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. She was born in Pepeekeo and was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and an avid participant in arts and crafts.
Friends may call 4-5 p.m. Sunday at the Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 5 p.m. wake service. Friends may also call 8:30-10 a.m. July 2 at St. Joseph Catholic Church for a 10:30 a.m. Mass, followed by burial at the Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire, no flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Ashley Hung of Hilo; daughter, Kimberly (Marc Ino) Hung of Honolulu; brother, Gadioso (Vinora) Pulgados, Sr. of Pepeekeo; sisters, Lucia (Zack) Abregano of Hilo and Rosalina (Emery) Wong of Arroyo Grand, Calif.; one granddaughter; one grandson; numerous nieces and nephews. Luana Mills
Luana Mills, 73 of Hilo (formerly of Oahu), died May 18, 2018, in Hilo. Born on May 21, 1944, in Santa Monica, Calif. she was a Jehovah’s Witness bible student.
Memorial service to be held at 1 p.m. June 30 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 17-4010 Ahuahu Place in Mountain View.
She is survived by sons, Reuel (Kathleen) Kobayashi of Missouri, Jahnisy (Alecia) Kobayashi of Pepeekeo; daughter, Dawni Kobayashi of Pahoa; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Dave Kaiulani Kamehaiku, 64, of Pahoa, died June 3, 2018, at Kona Community Hospital. He was born March 10, 1954, in Hilo.
Visitation will be held at 4 p.m. July 7 at Dodo Mortury Chapel in Hilo for a 6 p.m. celebration of life. Family request casual attire and no flowers.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Kamehaiku of Pahoa; daughter, Piilani (Keawe Puhi, Jr.) Kamehaiku of Kailua-Kona; son, Kelii (Keani) Kamehaiku of Hilo; brothers, Buddy (Nina) Kamehaiku of Hilo and Vernroy (Betty) Kaaiakamanu of Idaho; sister, Laverne Pana of Hilo; one sister-in-law; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Minako Tanimoto
Mrs. Minako Nishino Tanimoto, 93, of Waikoloa, died June 10, 2018, at Life Care Center of Kona. Born Aug. 7, 1924, in Ibaraki ken, Japan, she was a housekeeper at the Sheraton Waikiki, Halekulani and Reef Towers hotels.
Scattering of her ashes will be held on July 2 off Honokohau Harbor. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made in memory of Minako to Life Care Center of Kona, c/o Daisha Nguyen, 78- Kamehameha III Rd., Kailua-Kona, HI. 96740.
She is survived by her son, Larry (Leslie) Tanimoto of Waikoloa; daughter, Mae (Richard) Takatani of Maryland; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Elizabeth Chang
Mrs. Elizabeth Puleimoku Caitano Chang, 89, of Honolulu and formerly of North Kohala, died May 31, 2018, at the Wahiawa Long Term Care facility on Oahu. Born Feb. 10, 1929, in Kohala, she was a retired LPN nurse at the Kohala Hospital and member of Kalahikiola Congregational Church, Senior Citizens Club of Kohala, Kaahumanu Society of Kohala and the Kohala Gateball Club.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. July 7 at the Kalahikiola Congregational Church in Halaula for an 11 a.m. funeral service. Burial will follow at the Waianaia Cemetery in Halaula. The family requests causal attire and flowers are welcome.
She is survived by her daughters, Nalani (Keith) Fujimoto and Bette Sue (Joseph) Cazimero of Honolulu; sister, Maria Rosehill of Honolulu six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
